According to the regionalization of animal welfare, DogId is the new denomination of the database for the identification and registration of dogs in Belgium, obligatory since 1st September 1998.
By May 20th 2019, the mandatory RRN field can be read from the responsible's eID via the application, as is done in CatID. In this way, some of the required data (including the National Registry Number, first and last name(s)) will be filled in automatically and correctly in the DogID database. You then have only to enter his address manually. You can add a responsible by searching on that person's National Registry Number. If this person's data is not found in DogID, you can read the data from the eID or fill in the data yourself. Pay attention that the correction of an error on the first and last name during the manual introduction can only be done by reading the identity card of the person in charge by the next registration. A RRN number belongs to a single natural person.
